The personal connection in a Reunion is the most important factor in its success. Don't wait until the convention starts to find out you need your grandson (who will be out of town at that moment) to set up your camera and microphone so you can participate. Even though this is a virtual meeting, you should think of it as though you have paid your registration, airfare, and hotel bill and commit yourself to being there for the duration of the convention. Join with your friends in the hospitality and vendor rooms and bring your participation into the critical mass required for a convention to be successful.

If you stay on the line for a while and others appear, unmute
your microphone
and chat with them to get the feel for using Zoom.
